Beside the possibility to create an installation at a puplic showroom at one of the most frequented places in Vienna I used the opportunity to organize an artist talk with serious and ironic views and reflections on one’s own real and digital existence: How will we remember our fellow human beings in the near future? During the walk, we reflected on topics as iconographically charged forms of memory and the questioning of representation methods. Can our data acquire a life of their own after their death, or, to put it another way, could a digital, individual avatar be programmed from the bundling of all personal data, which acts like the real self on the basis of artificial intelligence?
